Since recovering I am always so hot and my heart beat spikes when I’m doing minor tasks, my eyes randomly burn, and fatigue is lingering. Praying to just feel normal again. 🙏🏼

I’ve been sick with suspected covid-19 for over 10 months now. I’m 17 years old and before the pandemic, I exercised and competed 5-6 times a week and had never been to a hospital. I had almost never been sick. Today I have lots of symptoms but the worst are extreme fatigue, tachycardia, leg pain and chest pain. My saturation isn’t healthy either. It went down to 87% when I did a 6 minute walking test at the hospital.
I hope it gets better for everyone soon!

Sometimes I get social distancing fatigue, but then I see videos like this and it makes me feel like all the precautions I'm taking are worth it. Thank you for this great video!

I got COVID in March, was hospitalized in April, and now have pulmonary failure and have to use a non-invasive ventilator. COVID is no joke, people. Stay safe.

I’m 52 and on day 18 after being tested covid positive. Never went to the hospital during the worst of it, and often think that with the extreme nausea I should have but was to weak to even consider it. I still do not have taste or smell, low grade on and off fever, fatigue and shortness of breath. I minute I feel like I’m getting better, then the next I don’t. Extremely frustrated. Just today now I have diarrhea which was never an issue. My body just feels off and always tired, even though at night And during the day I feel so tired, just can’t get quality sleep. Really hope that this residual ends soon as it affecting both mental and physical health. Just thought I would share my experience as most of us watching this video are searching for answers. Prayers for all.

I had covid in March and now have the antibodies. Initially I lost my smell and taste (anosmia) but now I’ve been experiencing parosmia for months and I hear this can last years. This has altered my smell and taste especially with coffee 😭😭😭, chocolate, peanut butter, meat, onions, garlic and many environmental smells. It’s a terrible chemical smell and many people aren’t even aware of this side effect.

My husband had a respiratory infection in April. He never got a positive test, but we were in the ER twice for shortness of breath. 4 months later he was still struggling with shortness of breath and fatigue. Finally saw a pulmonologist and got him on a bronchodialator, and he's doing much better! Still struggling a bit, but he can function at near normal levels.

“Did you enjoy this episode???” Hell no! A lot of news I did not want to hear. But I guess it’s better to be educated and know what’s real or not.

Can personally vouch for this. Diagnosed with COVID about two months ago, and had very mild chest pain and nausea. But now, my chest pain has worsened and could be due to blood clots around the lungs (awaiting further tests).
To those who have recovered, pay attention to your symptoms! Just because you're cleared doesn't mean you're in the clear.

i think this topic is something generally overlooked in diseases and injuries of almost any kind: long term/ permanent effects.
it´s not nice to think about it, because you get confronted with your mortality and the simple fact that our bodies are not perfect.
"perfect recovery" is what we all assume when we learn that a disease is "curable" - many curable diseases have some nasty, long term or even permanent effects.
some organs, like the heart and lungs can recover, but it takes a pretty long time and will probably never be as healthy as it was before. sad, but true.
