I have six 70.3 mile triathlons finished under my belt. I needed inspiration, and Nyad on Netflix has got the old 54 year old achy ball rolling again. Thanks Diana for being a Super BAD A$$ making inspiring deposits in to our emotional bank accounts. This banker by day, triathlete in my spare time guy is READY !! Wilmington NC 70.3 in 2024, Here I come! 😊

I absolutely love her. I want to live my life in a way that's similar to her, she chose a dream and when her mind was set to make it real, she worked her butt off and accomplished it. It wasn't complicated or confusing; she just invested the time to prepare and equip herself with the tools she needed and went for it. And succeeded. An important thing for all of us to remember with our own dreams.

She's 2 weeks older than I am, and i have trouble riding my bike five miles. She is quite the inspiration. To say the least.
