I remember the first time coming to this song I felt the lyrics and it wasn’t from me that I felt.. felt it as if someone I loved once was saying this to me. In fall 2021 I had broken up with someone who I was overly obsessive and loved, it wasn’t a good thing. I haven’t spoken to him for about two months after our breakup, once I found this song I felt like I was hearing his voice it felt like he was venting to me and telling me what he was going through and how he was feeling. Crazy thing I’d play this song while I was driving somewhere and I’d caught him with a girl in his car passing by but somehow something was telling me he wasn’t happy. A month later in October he visited and drop snacks that I liked and he remembered still and just left without saying a word. He expected me to call him that night but I wasn’t sure if making that choice would be good because I did love where I was at in life and the drama was gone and it was peaceful. I reached out 3 days later after seeing him text me off his moms number. I texted him and I rejected him after he told me how he felt and he wasn’t happy but this song was like he was speaking to me and venting to me. I met him and it’s been two months so I put on my best outfit and waited at the park for him while I played this song. I met him and it was like I felt so in love again and I was in relief and just very happy to see him. We talked and kept mentioning he missed me and can’t stop reminiscing. It made me blush but I second thought and said I’m happy where I’m at, but was I really? I was figuring myself out after our breakup and still hurting. I been with him for a year and it’s not a lot but it’s a lot to get to know someone you loved. Our night ended with passion but once I got home I knew seeing him would be a mistake and I got the feeling that it would not be good. I hit reality check and knew that hanging with him would be a cause. It was just like a dream but what I didn’t know then but know now it should’ve been closure, we should’ve left it closure because now we left it again with heartbreak and regrets. We should have healed fully before seeing each other again because now we can’t run back to each other knowing how we ended things badly. We ended up hurting each other at the end that it’s too late now to fix and rekindle our love because it’s broken:/
