Why I am Not a Sponsor. Instead Help Someone Work the 12 Steps. Alcoholism/Addiction Recovery.
Every program of recovery is a little different but finding a sponsor is a common topic. Personally, I don't have a sponsor or sponsor others, and here is why. Alcoholism/Addiction is a serious illness. It demands to be treated. Once you decide to begin the process of recovery it is important to begin the 12 steps as well. Don't let the disease get the best of you. Next it is your turn to help someone through their steps. Don't look back. You will continue to grow as long as you stick to the program. Helping others, helps you!
