This doctor’s “guidance” is a path to remain ignorant of early detection. He says it finds unnecessary issues but that’s perfectly normal for older adults because we all have a life history. I promise you anyone with stage 4 cancer wished they did this scan to go back to stage 1.

Sounds like physicians are afraid of being put out of business…

I dealt with side pain for 3 years and finally went to er and got a cat scan to figure it out, my bill was 6k because I hadn’t met my deductible. Had I known about this I would have saved a ton! In addition all the radiation I got from cat scan.

How can more testing cause more problems? Please explain?

Insurance should cover this. Isn’t it in their best interest to not to pay when problems arise?

Cat scans don’t have any radiation near the amount you get from an X-ray.

Yeah right.. anyone with half a brain can easily see the benefits of being proactive in any situation! This doctor sounds like a US doctor should.

it just sounds similar to 'masks are for doctors and nurses' . you don't need - it will do more harm then good. early on during covid commentary.
