I will not be surprised based on the date and name of the meeting if it ends up being a funny promotional meeting where they talk about how Palantir has partnered with Santa Claus. Maybe to optimize his logistics system using Palantir's world class data analytics to insure all good boys and girls get their optimal presents and none of the bad kids slip through the cracks. Better watch out bad kids... Santa is now using foundry lol.

I'll bite and take a guess...The major definition of extraordinary is "going beyond what is usual, regular, or customary." We (at least in the States) often use it when taking about something beautiful, awesome, inspiring, great and so on. But what if, in this case, it's simply beyond what is usual. Share buybacks, leadership change, company acquisitions (and even the Breakup of Gov/Comm biz) all seem to be a relatively normal part of doing business for a public firm and not exactly extraordinary. Will they finally open their tech up to everyone/anyone and lower the entry price substantially to allow even small business owners to test/pilot Foundry? Will they also launch a peer index of sorts to allow these same companies to see and use anonymous insights across companies and industries?

Or do you think that they may have decided to split the company into two defense/commercial?

Doing it the day before Christmas, on a Friday, it sounds like bad news... what time will it be? the market will be open? the q3 meeting was "I don t give a duck about retailers" to me, not letting them asked questions. Hard to say but I have a bad feeling based on corporate BS.

Interesting SEC read. Need >50% vote for any approval. 1.98 billion Class A shares. 127 million held by Founders. 99.9 million class B shares held by founders. Class A share get 1 vote. Class B share get 10 votes. 1.127 billion votes for Founders. So they don't need us to reach 50% threshold for reaching approval. Class F shares don't have voting rights FYI

Protolabs is a much more innovative company for rapid manufacturing. Fast radius is nothing more than a middle man between a customer and a random machine shop. Cloud manufacturing is them holding onto a part file and sending it out to another machine shop when the customers order again.

Has the meeting occurred? cannot find any info related the meeting after 23rd

Perhaps it relates to the class action lawsuit. Either a new stage or a settlement that need approval.

Honestly it might be worth it depending on the patents fast radius holds also this is a potential b to c suite that could be offered to startups thru foundry.

Desktop Metal or HP likely to bid for Fast Radius.

I think if they were going to buy one of their spac investments, it would be more blacksky or bigbear ai. As they tend to fall into palantir's expertise and possibly bring new customers for existing products.
But as always a great video!

maybe related to Hyundai/Palantir big data joint venture since Thiel is involved in that matter

I don't understand why they even have a shareholder vote. The class F founders shares outnumber all other shares outstanding. So the result will be what the founders want to do.

Split of Gov / Comercial shares like IBM?

could it be that they want to seperate their government business from the commercial business?

scottkilian

Perhaps to announce a $9B contract with the government. This was hinted some to be available a day after PLTR received their IL6 security clearance. At least a portion might be available since there are only 3 such companies with this security level. This would be a great Christmas present for us.

The lawsuit seeks to recover losses on behalf of Palantir investors who were adversely affected by alleged securities fraud. This lawsuit is on behalf of all purchasers of Class A common stock during the period September 30, 2020 to August 5, 2022,
