ThruNite TI3 V2 Single AAA Flashlight Review

The ThruNite TI3 V2 is a single AAA powered flashlight that breaks the mold by offering the user a run time of One Hundred and Fifteen Hours! The FireFly mode is Four Hundredths of a Lumen, and is very usable! The Neutral White LED is pleasing on the eyes and is able to bring out colors better with it's higher CRI index. I’ve had the Ti3 V2 (NW) for about a year now, and I love it. Perfect indoor flashlight—bright enough for peering into dark nooks and crannies, firefly is great for navigating familiar indoor spaces in the dark, and I love that it starts in low so it never blinds you at night.

My one issue with it has been that the clip I received is just slightly too small to fit on to the light—I’ve tried forcing it, but just scratched the body. Not a big deal for me since I would probably be leaving it in my pocket regardless, so I never bothered contacting anyone about it.

Nice comparison video. I too love the TI3 V2. The moonlight mode is super useful in the early morning, when I don't want to wake up my wife while getting dressed. The low mode is my general purpose mode for around my house. I very rarely need brighter capability than what this Thrunite can do. I will say that the other nice factor about this Thrunite TI3 V2, is I don't cringe badly if I drop this light on a hard surface, compared to owning say a Baton 3.

In 2021 I think these companies should be able to squeeze out 150 lumens in high mode and for longer than 30 mins. The Olight i3E EOS puts out 90 lumens for 45 mins with an alkaline and 1.25 hours with a rechargeable AAA.

The .04 lumens is not bad in total darkness. If you stand it on its end you could actually see what’s going on in a very dark room.
I think the main competition from Lumintop is that medium mode is 32 lm for four hours. Hard to say as this gets down to very personal choices.

Hej Todderbert interesting flashlight very pocket friendly thrunite seems to make very nice flashlights as well and also fenix flashlights. Yes this with flashlights has become a bit of a new hobby for me too. Thanks for the links I will definitely be checking it out take care and have a nice day.
