Yes, Pegasus is one of my favorite creatures in Greek Mythology. Pegasus is a symbol of singing and creativity. It is a symbol of freedom due to having wings (running as horses do) I named a piece of music that I have written after Pegasus. It is called, "Mares of Pegasus."

I never understood why Pegasus chose to serve Athena or its father Poseidon after what they had done to its mother Medusa... hell even served Perseus, the one that killed its mother. Strange logic to me to be honest.

Edited: Of my favorite Greek Mythology creatures... Cerberus, Griffon, and the Minotaur.

So Pegasus was really somewhat of a god, just never given god status....

I love Pegasus. I grew up on a horse ranch and have loved horses all my life. My native American Indian name is Skypony. I'm so glad Pegasus has a lovely story.

I have always adored Pegasus. Even as a small child, when I was weaned on Greek myths, and the adventures he had with Bellerephon and Perseus.

I love both the winged horse and the Unicorn. Horses are noble and beautiful, not to be owned, but to be loved and respected.

I've been enamoured of Pegasus since I was little girl when all the other girls were into unicorns. I just saw Pegasus as so much more interesting: horses already fly on the ground, but a horse that could fly in the heavens? Wow! Only recently have I learned of his sad origin story and I relate very much from coming from trauma and being neglected and / or abused, or in his case, orphaned. It's also lovely to me that once he was offered the golden bridle, then he saw how he could *serve* instead of be "broken in" as horses are. It's a beautiful twist. Aside from Pegasus, lately I've been intrigued by dragons. One dragon magick youtuber said that dragons can protect one from fire and that firefighters have claimed to see dragons in burning buildings and that they helped save people. I was struck by that story, I had always thought of dragons as being malevolent but his version made me want to learn more. My family lost everything in a house fire right before Xmas when I was a kid and someohow the idea of a dragon possibly protecting us (we all survived) inspired me. Thank you for your video.

They say how a horrible being like Medusa could have brought something so beautiful like Pegasus? Remember: she was a gorgeous woman.

The Pegasus is my favorite mythological creature. In the movie Clash of the Titans ( not the original one) Pegasus is portrayed by a beautiful black Fresian horse.

Great video because Pegasus is my favourite creature from Greek mythology. As well as the great Goddess Hekate/Hecate. I've just watched your video on her as well and think it was very well done. However I would recommend to anyone whom wants to understand far more about any particular creature and/or deity from any pantheon? To research and read more about them for themselves. You don't need to spend a fortune on books either because there is so much great material available for free online of course.

I first became fascinated by Pegasus after winning a Creative Writing Essay competition at the age of only 11 yrs old. Part of my prize was receiving a great book all about Pegasus. I adored this novel style book on Pegasus and his adventures with a passion. I read it over and over because I just loved reading about Pegasus so much! It wasn't until I was in my forties that I finally got a tattoo done of Pegasus on my ankle. Which I feel helps to guide me in my life in so many different ways.

I've just discovered your channel and am enjoying your videos very much. They are a great way to educate people about mythology using a short synopsis along with great pictures to accompanying them.

Blessed Be & Namaste, 🙏🏻

Besides the Phoenix, Pegasus is among my all time favorite mythological creatures. But, is it also true, that the Amazons of Themyscira were told by Zeus to care for Pegasus when he was young?

The white winged horse is a spirit in my Native American culture, but they’re dormant and hidden away safely only to return to help us when they’re needed most. When the great turtle that carries us on his shell shakes his shell, they’ll emerge from within the earth and help us.
