I only just recently saw the mini documentary following dale junior and the iracing folks doing the cleanup to make this track scan happen. Apparently, they didn't realistically forsee the cup series returning there at that point. What an effort to preserve what was a lost track at that time.

I was interested to hear what you thought about 16 kinda cutting down on me. I didnt know what to do once he jumped down. He slowed down so much into the corner after cutting me off. Glad i finally got to race with you. Hopefully will again soon and hopefully ill have a better race

The modern North Wilkesboro has a concrete strip by the pit wall in 3 and 4 that adds some extra grip.
