I totally agree with you about plants and nature forcing us to slow down and be patient. My garden has taught me so much this year. I tried growing hot peppers from seed for the first time and they require a LOT of patience. So many times I thought I had screwed up and that they would die, but then they exploded with growth showing me how amazing they are. Gardening has been my sanity in this last year and a half of the pandemic, watching life grow at its own slow pace without a care for what is going on in our human world.
