an extremely exaggerated description - this film has none of the Agatha Christie multi- layered clues in her work. I found it vulgar and boring.

No movie will ever be as good as the book it's based on! The movie would need to be 5-20 hours long to show everything that happens and your imagination is still better than anything that can be filmed. I mean this in general, not just about this movie, but I started reading Agatha Christie at 8 years old, I've read everything.

Can someone explain to me how *ANY* part of the film is like Agatha Christie? Sure, it’s nods to it by Neil making “Mousetrap” and the twists are also nods but apart from that, still not my Agatha Christie

A good Christie novel, movie, is not a horror or terror film, it is a 'pot boiler'. The bad stuff is illuded to, described, but not shown. We draw our own conclusions. Her stories are compelling and interesting, not repulsive.

I must’ve started to watch this film once before & stopped before the cop showed up. This time l soldiered through to its end. First revulsion: Joan’s unflattering “do.” Hideous. Suits no one. Next & even more major: Cricket’s voice/appalling acting. I could murder her with relish — if not hollandaise. Dame Agatha would. All in all, a pretty ghastly attempt. Nonetheless l thank you for airing it. Horror/mystery buffs must take the wheat WITH the chaff… or the shaft?

The thumbnail had nothing to do with the movie. I did find it very entertaining though. The acting was decent and the story was interesting but the camerawork was terrible and the “ plan” was nonexistent. I give it a 3 out of 5
