A "cure" would imply you no longer need the "medicine" - in which case why does it matter if the bot is always there for you? That just means you're dependent on it.

As far as loneliness goes, there are people who understand the challenges humanity face right now so well that only a handful of people in the world can relate, that's gotta be pretty lonely. But not only are they able to go on they are able to do high level mental work, so loneliness can be tolerated without hindering how effective people are. Of course, a lot of people don't care about doing work like that and just want to feel better, even if it's fundamentally based on a lie.

That's $60 an hour and she can get that from multiple people. I'd say it works. Why not? Some people its hard to get a girlfriend. Standards from some woman are unreasonable and over the top but to one's is own. It helps relieve some anxiety and stress and provides comfort. In today's day and age, it's a great tool. May seem a bit pricey but Caryn Marjorie is freaken hot. She is a great person too. So I remember when I had a hard time to find a girlfriend and to some it will work. Is it ethical? Again it depends on the person but if you're not into it, why judge someone else who wants it. It has zero affect on someone who doesn't agree with it.
