4 thousand miles review. What I think about the bike after owning it after this long and after owning and riding other bikes. The FZ8 is awesome. It has low points and high points. It is such an easy bike to control and have fun with. It has tons of power up in the 4 and higher rev range and a bike you can have fun pushing hard. It is not an fz09. Which has tons of low end torque. This can be fun but also has its draw backs. With the FZ09 you spend so much of your focus making sure you don't spin the rear tire and loose grip in a turn or time is spent trying to keep the front wheel down. The power is also much more abrupt and harder to deal with.

The fz8 will peel the skin off your face, but do it in a manageable way. A way that you can enjoy and control. It's easy to have fun with this bike.
