In defence of IGA, they're not individual chain... They're the Independent Grocers of Australia, a brand of independently owned and operated stores that work collectively to compete with the Big Two (Coles Myer and Woolworths). So yeah, their stores are a bit more 'homey' and costs are higher, but all owned by the people running them rather than a big Corp.

Personally, I think Tasmania is the prettiest state of our country. So much to see for such a little place

02.00 - The fresh air comes from the Antarctic, not the Arctic

Last but not least - the Apple Isle, the prettiest island in the world, the fresh food gourmet capital of Australia, friendliest people, living history, scallop pies - to be continued.. 💖

Love, love love that postcard. Reminds me of Albert Namatjira’s paintings! You’ve captured the essence of the Flinders Ranges. Beautiful work!

Tasmania is my favourite place in the world.
The food is amazing
Make sure you try a scallop pie.
Also, when you get to Hobart, just put aside an Arvo to just walk around Battery Point. It's like a living museum

Drone footage and time lapse photography is next level ! I know Tia is very shy but i really do hope you’re interacting a little with the locals, they can teach you so much about Tassie and it just heightens the whole experience. Have a great time, hope you see a Tasmanian Devil! ❤

I really appreciate the use of the map, especially at 12:10. It added clarity and made it easier to follow along. Great job!

Hey Tia and Cheveyo! It was great to meet you both at the Salamanca Markets on Saturday. Thanks for being gracious to take a photo with my wife and I, for scale of course... =) All the best!

Tia, that postcard is stunning. Deserves to be put up in a National gallery.
You're currently doing the trip my wife and I did for our honeymoon 14 years ago. The whole way around, the island just kept getting better. Every day we would say, "Yeah, I could live here!"

In the 19th century, Wineglass Bay became a hotspot for the whaling industry. Whaling stations popped up, and the bay's waters often turned red with whale blood. It's a stark contrast to the pristine beauty we see today, but it's an important part of the bay's history.

Can't wait for you to get to Cradle Mountain - the Dove Lake circuit is so nice - recommend doing the addition of the little wombat boardwalk as well.

I knew guys would love tassie & it gets better. It's just different to mainland Australia & its understandable why parts of it are world heritage listed.
Tia, that postcard looks phenomenal

Thank you for showcasing our beautiful state! Although I'll have to disagree on the Big Spud- my family and I put a lot of work into Kenny the Kennebac, and we're very proud of him ♥

Love the postcard Tia!
Tassie is amazing, a photographer’s paradise. Shame “The Wall” at Derwent Bridge is closed for Winter, it’s incredible. Also used to get scallop pies at Evandale Bakery -absolutely delicious! Enjoy Tassie….

I've lived in this state for 6 years and miss Aldi everyday.

Thanks for your videos. Have been enjoying them thoroughly.

Seeing the Gorge in flood is incredible. It washes out the pool and the shop, and they just clean it out and wait till the next flood

This is bringing back memories for me. My husband and I took our car to Tasmania and travelled right around the island on our honeymoon 52 years ago. We did one of the last voyages of the Empress of Tasmania out of Sydney, it started working out of Melbourne shortly afterwards. I’ve been back to Tassie twice in the last twenty years but only to Hobart and Dover on those trips. Places that have stuck in my memory for more than 50 years are Bicheno, Richmond, Port Arthur and the whole of that peninsula, the caves and hot springs way down south at Hastings, Mount Wellington, Queenstown, the beach at Strahan where the waves roll in all the way from Africa and the trip on the Gordon River.

You guys look so happy to be there! As a West Aussie, Tassie is my favourite holiday destination in Australia because it feels like a different country. As others have said, try to get to see Lake St Clair and Cradle Mountain - just awesome places.

Congratulations on getting to Tasmania - I'm Australian and still haven't seen WA or the NT.
Love Wineglass Bay - bit of a hike up and down over the saddle (where the lookout is) but worth it. Even in March we had it almost to ourselves.
23:26 - That poster behind Tia is of Dove Lake with Cradle Mountain behind it - spectacular, and I saw a Tasmanian devil there!
Another big thing for Tia - the Big Penguin (3 metres tall) in the town of...Penguin! 30 mins west of Devonport.
