I don’t have a smoker yet and just made my first pork belly burnt ends in the oven following a different recipe at 275 degrees. Can’t wait to try this one in the oven. Hopefully Santa brings me a smoker this year 😂 thanks for the awesome content!!

I just want to know when you are going to bring some of them to me?

I have these perfected and the guys from work buy the belly and I do it almost identical to yours. The temp is the key. 275 plus to render the fat. I use butter and brown sugar for the glaze because not everyone likes the same sauces as I do. You can sauce them after the cook imo. They are delicious.

I will have to try this. I've been making bacon from the Kroger belly regularly. Do you know of a place near us (Southaven) who will slice my bacon for me? I'll gladly pay, but I don't have a slicer yet, but I think I'll buy one next spring. I use your garlic buttter, comp rub, jalapeno garlic and creole garlic butter rubs.

Do you cook them in the direct heat or indirect?
