Amid the fog of war, it is critical for media outlets to exercise extreme caution in reporting events on the ground. This means not rushing to report unverified information, verifying claims completely, and maintaining objectivity in coverage.

Since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, we have warned media outlets of the importance of reporting on military actions factually. Yet again, we urge the media to report fairly, verify your information, and be deeply skeptical of official statements from Hamas. In this incredibly tense environment, misreporting further inflames extremists, which can literally mean life or death for Jewish communities.
