for multiple beam/load combinations, search youtube for Global Beam
Deflection Equations, a 3-video set showing the derivation and use of
this 'universal' deflection equation. It can be differentiated to give a
corresponding 'universal' slope/moment/shear equation.
It works for linear and non-linear loads, either beam-wide or partial loads and shows symmetries not
previously known between beam types and across single point loads and across partial-load boundaries.
