Sophie is a classy woman who fulfilled the duties she signed up for so well. She was very close to QEII & loved her. The feeling was mutual. You can see the warmth between them. She richly deserves her new title Duchess of Edinburgh which was QEII’s title before she become Queen. It’s fitting.

I have met The Duchess of Edinburgh on many occasions. She is a very gracious lady with a ready sense of humour. She is always very knowledgeable about the particular charity or institution she is visiting. She also never forgets a face!

Prince Edward and Princess Sophie always seem to stay out of the limelight. They attend to their duties, keep their private lifes out of the press and seem to do it all without any controversy. I'm an American but always was fascinated with the royals. I like them both very much and I am happy to see them coming out publicly.
