We've become very skilled at practicing distraction and mindlessness, but have you spent a similar amount of time teaching your brain to stay in one place? Focus is a capacity like endurance or strength. If you don't practice, it's only natural to struggle. So in our second lesson breaking down the fundamental mental movements of meditation, we'll practice keeping our brains in one spot, and bringing them back, when they wander off.
