Built VW Mk7 GTI, DBV2 Hybrid Turbo - Heartbreaker Dyno

'15 GTI FBO, DBV2 V2 TBB hybrid turbo, Precision Raceworks ported/polished head, MPI kit and Stage 4 LPFP kit (dual Walbro 450s). E79.
My turbo issues are finally behind me! At only 32psi we managed to get 524whp/440wtq (corrected) on a Mustang dyno, which is said to read 10-12% lower than a Dynojet. That puts this at ~580whp for those that care.
I know a dyno is just a dyno, and I'm not chasing an HP number, but I am really impressed with this DBV2 V2 TBB hybrid turbo. It has a crazy amount of low-end response which makes it ideal for slow corners at the track and just driving around town, while flowing plenty up top. It's actually more responsive than my twinscroll EFR7163 was.
I'm also impressed with the Precision Raceworks ported/polished head. Thanks to it, we're able to make this power at several less PSI (32) than expected, meaning the turbo isn't having to work so hard. Power seems to be holding better up top compared to other dynos of this turbo that I've seen as well.
We had to cut the dyno tuning session a bit short, but tuner thinks we still had 10-15 or so HP left in it, FWIW. Going to tweak a few more things and do it again in a couple of months before the good weather comes back, and hope to make a full track season next year.
