My stepmom is just like Lori in that she projects whatever is going on with her directly onto others. She seems to thrive on conflict. It is so exhausting and hurtful and has quite literally torn our family apart. I try to meditate and be diplomatic and keep people connected and peaceful as best I can, but it takes a toll, and I sincerely worry about my dad’s safety every day. It just helps knowing I am not alone. To see you guys staying positive and trying to spread goodness into the world really helps me, and I thank you for that. You are appreciated. Congratulations on finishing your book!
