Yeah, they're not very comfortable especially if you wear glasses or those in-ear speakers often as idols have to, but in general they're benign and don't cause much trouble. The struggle with getting it removed if that they often grow back, it's just expensive and time-consuming to get them constantly removed, if it stops growing and doesn't get inflamed or infected, just leaving it is fine. Hair usually keeps people from seeing it, and the in-ear speakers usually cover the back of the ear as well. As long as it doesn't really bother Ryujin, then it's fine. I knew someone who had one on their ear for eight years, never got it removed, it stayed the same size the whole time, and it was fine.

Well i have keloids on both my ears. Even though its not life threatening, there's no cure for them. Even if you get it removed it usually grows back. I got mine removed for 4 times and they grew back bigger than before. It really makes a person insecure. I hope she and i both get rid of them

I have them on my back, their not big but they can be caused by, yes infections or injury. So your body in turn produces scar tissue, it over grows while trying to heal and it forms a keloid. Their not harmful they can just be uncomfortable with friction. They can grow larger overtime. Removing it can be complicated BECAUSE it’s your body overreaction to a scar so they have probability of reforming.

i had 2 keloids; one that was with me since birth and a keloid formed because of a badly infected piercing around this size and got them removed when i was 18. they didn’t bring any discomfort or effect to my health. i got them removed because people were making fun of me but i don’t think i would remove them if they didn’t because removing the keloids was more uncomfortable and painful than having them.
