Im a Local resident and im 100 percent with you on what your saying, I Renovate homes all over the area you will get your property secured these kinds of misunderstanding happen all the time, until the light starts to shine on whats going on. plain and simple you dont want your front yard developed into a dang liquor store or whatever dont matter what the deal is stuff gets me worked up to no end, theres some real good guys over there youll bump into the right one good luck brother if anything make them pay you 40 Million dollars or something and they can have your whole property how about that instead of being annoying and petty about stuff get paid there out all there bribe money and shows over you get the money you deserve and then they can break all the laws they want and can quit asking you to greenlight there shananagons your basically just as guilty if you dont speak up they will illeagly devlope the whole thing and before you know it the whole towns full of some crazy resurants serving BUBBLE TEA and WILD BILL SMOKE SHOPS stand your ground you should run for city mayor, my question is who stands to PROFIT from this ? Whos the MasterMinds? What are they Providing you and the people ?

Similar situation at my home in Farmington Hills some years back, our sub was 100x 320 lots, the origional sub was plotted to have a road at the rear of our property with lots of 100x160 but that never happened, thus the larger lots. A developer wanted to build condos on the vacant land behind us, part of the deal was they needed to abandon the road, we weren't happy but the city assured us when they closed the road 40 feet of property would be split down the middle 20 feet to either property owner so we all signed to close the road, a few months later we recieved notice that they were wrong and all the road went to the developer, we were ticked. But it all worked out in the end the same developer decided that they wanted to buy our entire sub for development, this time my wife got a attorney, 13 other properties through out the sub aligned with us, I can't speak for everyone but we had the upper hand this time and the developer paid dearly, stand your ground my friend, stand your ground.

Went to high school at Milford early 70's, just down I-59 to the East of Howell. Witnessed the rampant greed driven development of that once beautiful farm region. It's all gone.
