I bet your Dad is very proud of the man his son became. Thank you for sharing this story. It is not easy and the pain never fully goes away. He will always live in your heart until you meet again.

Sorry for your loss! I have lost my father and 2 brothers. I'm still fighting to survive this 3rd round of cancer. It's great to see you again.

The real estate and bank crash really destroyed so many dreams and homes. There are an untold huge number of homes still abandoned, unable to sell them because of multiple owners and the confusing market shares. As to your loss, I'm sorry for that. I lost my Grandma and my freedom to the pandemic. I wish I could just fly away and figure it all out because it's so confusing to navigate these emotions in the middle of it all. But I'm trapped in a cage as I'm immune-compromised, unable to be among people anymore. I definitely understand the buildings on your channel moreso than the people that walked away from them. To be forgotten, lost, abandoned when they were so full of life, love and stories. What a sad waste. Have a safe journey!

I subscribed because this video and the comments made me not feel so alone with my grief journey of losing my best friend, mentor, role model, the best man I’ve ever met, my dad! Grief is NOT linear! My dad loved the desert and was a desert rat and snow bird. He loved the Mojave Desert and would go camping there sometimes. His favorite place was the desert. Thank you for all this. Sending love and warm hugs your way. 💕

Great adventure Jeremy, I really enjoyed this one, so sad that these beautiful structures never made it to the fullest! To see them all mangled and ripped apart is beyond sad!
What amazing views, so beautiful and calming. Having a coffee and sending you Cheers from V.A. 🤟
My deepest condolences to you for the loss of your dad, you stated that your bike became your salvation, it gave the wings to fly, you can't get any freer than having wings to soar!
I do enjoy your story telling, you have the perfect voice for it, always respectful & lowkey.! Your pops is proud of you... ❣

So I lived in prescott Arizona. Real close to this town. There were a lot of crazy things to see off the beaten path. There are crazy below going mines near Lake Alameda. We camped in one. So many treasures to find if you are willing to get alittle dirty and look. Most people never go past roads and population but it's the remote unseen that is so intriguing 🤔. Only a true adventurer can appreciate. Can't wait to see this documentary you created .

Oh wow! It's like you can reach up and touch the clouds. So quiet you can hear the desert talk and absolutely beautiful ❤. You know, Jeremy, you could take one of those houses and fix it up with left from the other houses, and it would be like living off the grid. Have some rain barrels to catch the rain when the monsoons come. I am always dreaming, lol. I can relate to your lost Jeremy. I lost my mom, dad, and 3 brothers, my horse, and my dog within a 5 yr. period. And then lost my husband 7 yrs ago. Death has changed me, lets me know I am mortal, and has taught me to cherish every moment I have and to love life. ❤️ I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure your father wants you to be happy, and his spirit is keeping you safe. I am one that believes our energy never dies. I hope that I didn't overstep my bounds by saying that. Thank you again for another great adventure. It's good to see you again it has been awhile. 😊

2008 was end of so many businesses. We are self employed. Husband petro maintenance. We lost all of our savings and retirement that year. We all still in business (20 years in 2025) but absolutely remember that awful time. Terrific video!

I found this so mesmerizing! I grew up in Las Vegas, and really get what life would have been like in Silverado. So peaceful there, so sad to see such beautiful homes utterly destroyed.

I’m sorry about your Dad 😢. Peace brother.

Hello Jeremy, just found you, Silverado attract me, was looking for the old town from the Western films I watch on tv . Well I am surprised that it no longer exist but you showed this sadly abandoned mansion, such waste but beautiful, and the Sky so blu, lovely to see, thank you for sharing your adventure . So sad about your Dad, wish you comfort and healing, cherish the precious memories, he is not gone but lives in your love for him. We all lost loved ones, there is a time to mourn and a time to have joy . Much love **

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost mine way back in 1998, but he is still with me. He lives on in my heart, and there isn't a day that I don't miss his physical presence. Dad's are truly special people. 🥰
Nice adventure and explore. Such a shame to see everything going to waste.

My Condolences to you Jeremy. This episode really touched me 😢, I recently lost someone dear to my heart, and we would go off the beacon path where ever we go. We had a chance to drive to Phoenix Arizona, and fell in love with the desert. We wanted to do again, but didn’t get that chance. So again, through this episode, it felt as though I was there all over again. My deepest sympathy to you🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
