I'm Pete and I play music! Having fun with metal guitar doing everything from modern metal, extended range 7 strings and 8 strings to thrash metal on a good old 6 string. Riffs in the styles of other bands, shredding and lots of fun with metal music!

Funny how Walk instantly sounded meshuggish! Loved it

First half of master of puppets sounds like it came straight from Doom

Hearing Master of Puppets on an 8 string sounds like something Mick Gordon composed without industrial music elements.

Funny enough. KoRn's Here to Stay sounds so similar to the original since it was already played in A and had some crushing tone. RATM's Bulls on Parade also doesn't sound too different from the original since the bass was so distorted in the original song, now it just sounds like you're jamming the bass part lol

Walk feels so dead without Rex and Vinnie glueing it together.

Burn It To The Ground is my favorite Meshuggah song

Not sure if they sound “better” per say than the originals but I love the reimagining of the riffs. Love the creativity with this video.

"One" was absolutely skullcrushing. Should be a part of an original thall song with brutal vocals. Slap some pitch shift on it to make it +15.7% nastier.

Somehow Walk in its original tuning sounds heavier to me.

Bulls on Parade sounds exactly the same lol.

Slowing down Painkiller really takes the firepower out of the song.

Meshuggah should do a Nickelback cover album.

All in all a really cool vid.

One sounded really cool, I'd love to hear a complete cover in that style

Schecter has been killing the 7+ string game, have always loved their models and tones.

One in 8 string is something no one knew we needed ...but you've done some magic with that one.

Walk on an 8 string is basically a meshuggah riff

I love how you can take classic riffs and change them up so they are different but you can still tell what they are. Like you x riff in x 20 bands stuff. youre a beast.
