When designing the All-New Mazda3, we wanted to create an environment with a clear, expressive sound system centred around the car's most important feature - the driver,

In profound tests, Bose audio engineers analysed in detail how sound behaves inside the vehicle cabin.

Together, we then worked to create an evolved audio system integrating Bose BassMatch. We designed a new speaker layout by mounting the woofers in the cowl side panels of the car.

The result is an improved quality of both audio reproduction and sound insulation, for a more energising driving and listening experience.

I wish Klipsch did this. I have a new Mazda 3 with the Bose and it's impressive. Won't knock over small children as you drive by but it seems to always have enough to effortlessly provide everything I ask of it. The whole car seems to have this attention to detail. I thought I would really miss a touch screen but the wheel and buttons are effortless and it keeps your eyes up.

My 2014 Mazda 3 has 9 inch bose woofers on the doors and it sounds great. These new ones are a few levels up. Fantastic sound. Its no Mark Levinson but its freakin close.

I am writing this after driving this car for about half a year. The first comment was too agressive so I deleted it.
Now I am calm and this has purely informative meaning.
The sound system in Mazda 2019 is no match to the previous version of 3.
Mazda could have boasted with "immersive sound" tag in the previous model.
I drove it for 5 years. And man how I enjoyed it. That sound system outweighted
couple of small imperfections of that car. Many times I came home at night
tired but boosted by the sound system after 30minutes drive.

Nothing is left. The speakers in the doors and in the back plate are exchanged with tweeters
and woofers built somewhere into the structure of the car.
There are no speakers where you were used to. The tweeters are directed straight to your head and it renders the sound unpleasant

after a while and from one direction only.
There is no sound comming from the back. I literally looked back after few km, when I drove that car for the first
time and I thought "what the hell did these guys do to the sound?".
Immersive tag is gone. poof. Overall I do not like it and ended up using it very little.
The sound is overbased, overtrebled, I dont hear things that I used to here previously no matter
what I do with the settings.
Very big disappointment for me Mazda and Bose.

One of 2 reasons I decided to go for Mazda is gone for me now.
I will be paying very good attention to details when I will be choosing the next car.

I would not consider Bose domestically, and although I thought Mazda may have chosen a better audio partner, I am prepared to give it a chance inside of a Mazda 3 (the 12 speaker version that is, I'm not falling for any of the 'explanations' so far). Anyone who has heard it and thinks it's good, please give me an idea of what your home set-up is, thanks.
