This is MUYU's Bolivian Geisha Peaberry made using their Blooming Profile recipe (thank you!)

This is again hand ground to the grade required to meet the recipe using my Kinu Classic on a fine espresso grind. The resulting grind needed was finer than that needed on the non-blooming Castillo.

The recipe was for 17.5 g but I suspect a typo. The 17.5g almost perfectly dialed in was both sweeter than my final calibration, but also ever so slightly more acidic.

Upping dose to 18g and leaving everything else the same pulled the shot into line - it made both the profile more consistent, the grind analyser happy, and most importantly, delivered a fantastic tasting coffee.

Tasting notes were accurate once dialled in with florals and wild berries. Aromatic, some bitter-sweetness that to be reminded me a piece of chocolate that's *almost" too dark to eat, and hardly a touch of acidity to hint at those berries. Or it might just be my palate or be in my head.
