hot take i Adore firestar as a character and relate to him in many aspects, even if the erins failed him writing wise a bit TwT i think his arc is fun and refreshing compared to many 'average man becomes hero' trope stories

About a week ago i decided that i want to catch up with warriors, and i'm already at the end of the darkest hour (i've read the first 3 books back in 2020), and i all i have to say is Fire(heart)star is an AMAZING character. I love every strand of fur of him, from his himbo energy to his struggles, i would gladly adopt him if i had a chance. He may be overrated, but he DESERVES it. Also, your art style is pure eye candy and i adore it to every single detail

Some appreciation for the absolute shit that Firestar went through!! People just brush over the abuse he endured by Bluestar, the fact that he was basically still a young adult when he was tossed into the deputy and leader role, him having to train Brackenpaw on top of Cinderpaw...

I think people have forgotten how much fire star has gone through, from his own daughters going through abuse and hatred throughout their lives, to his friends and family slowly dying while he lives on with his nine lives. He even had to fight many battles that they probably were scary, he just didn’t show it that often. Firestar was truly a great cat.

One of the reasons I will always pick the first arc of Warriors over any other is mainly because of Fire. He is a beautiful character with so much to offer. He made stupid choices, he remained loyal not only to his friends, but his clan. And did his clan return the favor?

Not all the time. Not always. Fire had to constantly prove his worth even when he became leader.

I absolutely love how you empathised his struggles! For a while I thought people think of him as the 'OG Warrior cat tm.' but he actually had so much depth! I am a slow reader so I'm only at the 4th book so far but I'm dedicated to catch up ;3 anyways I really enjoy that he isn't just a cardboard character and really made him stand out. He was relatable but at the same time so damn stupid and questionable XD but what matters is that he was backed up by the narrative which I hear isn't as well with the other protagonists which is a shame really- but I enjoy his journey so far. My fav book (I bet a lot of you think so as well) is so far Forest of secrets. Not because of the great reveals. But because it was very well built up and paced. A real treat I ate up in a span of 10 days XD

Nah you cant take me back to how bad I felt for him from fire and ice to the darkest hour, everyone was out to get little man. His situation was actually pretty depressing when I think about it now, he needs him some therapy 😭

Everyone says Firestars overrated, i dont think. Hes a fav of mine fron this series. He's saved the clans many times and then people still call him a kittypet just reading his Super edition right now, but i adore this video. I love it!

I literally adore him, I feel like he was a great character even with the bad writing. He truly wanted to prove himself because of everyone treating him poorly because of his kittypet history, and he dealt with a lot with having to save the clans from the twolegs and also the entire thing with Tigerstar. I feel that he was a good person though, he cared about everyone around him dearly, even Tigerstar and he felt a sense of grief seeing him die. Firestar was very much selfless and did the best for everyone around him, even if it caused him a lot of anguish
