Girne Yacht Harbor, the pleasure point of Cyprus with the atmosphere of a charming Mediterranean city;

Especially in summer, it has an indispensable beauty with its restaurants, cafes, shops and yachts lined like pearls. The port, which has an important place in the transportation to Cyprus by sea, has been protected by Girne Castle in the past due to its proximity to the mainland and has been brought to its present shape by the Venetians.

The restaurants and bars behind the horseshoe-shaped recess of the Kyrenia Yacht Harbor exhibit a picture-like appearance. The presence of the Luzinyan-era Girne Castle at the entrance (by the sea route) of the Kyrenia marina adds an invaluable value to the Kyrenia harbor.

The buildings on the marina line, which are used as places for eating, drinking and entertainment today, were used as a warehouse for carob (carob) and salt, which were exported to Anatolia and Europe from Cyprus in ancient times.

The Kyrenia Marina, which is very valuable commercially, was developed in the British Colonial Period (after 1880) by building a breakwater and a single-storey customs building. In 1914, this customs building was added to the second floor and took its final shape and today it continues to function as the Marina Office.
