Yeah, solid list here... The Mikaelson family (TVD/Originals) in general are borderline unstoppable in; one would have to know about their oddly specific weakness to white oak stakes to even have a chance at stopping them permanently....and even then, it's not like there's a lot of that material left in the world. In the beginning, they did the smart thing and burned that tree to the ground, trying to eliminate their 1 significant weakness from the equation entirely.

As an anime nerd, I cannot wait to see the animated list. I know some people who could make top 20s on that topic. So seeing an animated list from a vampire specific aficionado is going to be super fun.

Classic Doctor Who had a race of vampires that were so gigantic that they ate entire PLANETS and to stake them through the heart you had to ram them with a spear-shaped spaceship. It took the Time Lords (a race that, as the name implies, control time and space itself) to get rid of them with effort, and even then at least one survived.

The Master of Buffy/Angel was great, he was able to adapt and thrive in any era or location whilst keeping a low profile and building followings. I liked how sassy he was too.

The script actually says that "the Master is as old as any Vampire on record". Meaning that they don't actually know his age. But Joss Wheaden made it clear that the Master is "far" older than 600 years old. They ditched the 600 hundred year old number when Darla was revealed to be 400 herself.

Honestly, if I had to choose a vampire to be, I would choose to be a vampire from TVD. They just seem so unstoppable especially the originals. From a movie, I'd pick Underworld specifically to undergo the process Selene did.

I think I can speak for all those who have seen it when I say you NEED TO cover the From Dusk Till Dawn series of supernaturals 🙌🏽🙏🏽. They’re very very interesting and the show had some very interesting concepts and good qualities to it

Great video! Initially, my #1 pick would've been Dracula (Penny Dreadful) due to his cosmic horror origin (i.e., being Lucifer's brother/other half); however, it sounds like Hope may be on a higher level.

I had assumed Klaus would be number 1-2 tbh, but yeah I can agree with Hope, I don't care for her char too much besides when she was more or less a prop for the show (baby/child phase) because I don't like where the story went at the end. Klaus is my favorite vampire and one of my favorite characters in general, so at least his offspring took the top spot lmao

I don't know for sure, but I think Kakistos was probably older than The Master. He was so old his feet had become cloven hooves and they needed a giant stake to kill him.

Dont know if you are into games, but the Vampyr game is such a fantastic piece of lore, we have different kinds of vampires, a vampire society with hierarchy and such, a reason why the attacks arent noticed by the common folk. I really think you should give a try.
