They did a similar thing at a hospital I work at in the UK last year. I remember being in the anaesthetic room with the young chap we were about to operate on, he was saying how he was sad that he didn't get to see them because he had to come down for his op. A couple of hours later after his op we took him back up to the children's ward, and the volunteers in their Star Wars uniforms had waited for him to come back so they could surprise him, he was so happy and I have so much respect for them for waiting for him :)
