900 Hours here. Avorion is a great game. Co-op strongly recommended.
However, its a game that takes VERY long to progress. It can be very monotonous at times, and quests can be quite tedious.
Bear your time management in mind. A single playthrough may take more than 200-300 hours. Its fun if you can find friends to play it with!

Avorion is an amazing game. Really the only space game allowing you to build an empire, block by block. I never really race to the end of the game, but always get caught up building industry somewhere 😀

100% Agree with the introduction. I have 3080 and I tend not to play graphically heavy titles. The games that run the best are the most fun to play. This game looks cool btw.

"it doesn't look great" ?!? 😂 it was made by 1 guy who originally built it using Microsoft excel on a budget equal to a happy meal. When you understand things in context you realize it actually looks bloody incredible. :D I call it "art deco space simulator" as it just has that vibe to its lighting and textures. And as for the price, to my mind it is too low, I have paid far more for games that I only ever played once, I have been playing this on and off over the last 6 years :o) It should be $20 to my mind, with sales of $14.99 on occasion. It is worth it.

Avorion is an absolute GEM of a space game. I found both Avorion and X4 at the same time. They both scratch an itch that I just can’t find anywhere else.

I dropped 150 hours into this game in 2018 early access. This game is my go to example of how early access has legitimate use cases. I had so much fucking fun playing with a buddy of mine, I don't remember that much about the actual gameplay but I remember the vibes were unmatched by any other game.

Imho avorion has one of the best if not the best building mechanics for a spaceship game, I've spent countless hours detailing ships as much as possible and I don't think I'll be ever able to tap full potential. Also this game has absolutely no limits on what you can build, avorion shows you scale of your ships in meters and you can quickly run into kilometres.

Also cool thing about avorion is being able to mod the game, something like Xavorion mod pack turns the game into an entirely different experience!

Totally worth the money, especially how laughably small the file size for the game is.

Nice video, but ONE thing to say I have - STAR WARS is extra stronk with this one. The player can also play with Halo, STAR TREK, Homeworld, EvE online, etc.. The most interesting ships atm are Asian made like the DENEB and Long March Industry 17th Fleet. And then come the mods for almost anything you could imagine - guns, components, abilities (NPC stuff), map generation enhancers, better spawn rates, custom factions, AI buffs, etc..

Low graphics but good gameplay reminds me of Starmade, essentially minecraft in space. The crafting system used to be a convoluted nightmare and only like 12 people and and a monkey knew how it worked. I LOVED when it was convoluted since I was one of those people.... or maybe I was the monkey?

I suggest you all take a look at Spacebourne 2.
A game with great potential, low price, more features than most AAA games made by a single developer.
Consider supporting his work.
It is worth it.

Installed it last night because i do not have internet at home at the moment and looking for something like Eve and this is a mix of Eve/Minecraft/ Freelancer and i love it. I am always a miner and so far it just fun building ships and upgrade them

I personally think the only thing I miss is more blocks and maybe something like a few more or better tools and UI for building and more possibilities with the saved stuff.

I currently play Singleplayer and just build my narrative with a Commander that ranks up and earns his money as an opportunist. Trading, Bounties, Missions and so on. Its awesome.
