Honestly, this is amazing! It’s so cool to see a person just one year older than me accomplish all this stuff! I found this out by my dad. I really hope he gets far. But a message to all the parents, don’t compare your child to him. It can hurt them physically and mentally. My dad started comparing me to him and it honestly really hurt. But disregarding that issue, I honestly hope and believe he will get far! Way to go!

Caleb's mother is right. I personally know there are quite a few kids like this. Many go unnoticed, have lack of opportunity in their home/neighborhood/academic environment, have no mentor(s), and can eventually crash and burn. In a lot of these success stories the kid has home schooling, or very educated parents. They have access to educational material. You can ask yourself, how can a kid be a musical prodigy if they are never exposed to an instrument? Some kids try to do it on their own. Imagine having to be the master of your own education when you are like ten years old; God bless you. I guess what I am trying to say is that society/government needs to take greater interest in public education, so that kids who want to learn can have resources and mentors available, whether your learning speed is quick, normal or slow. In my city they are all but phasing out "gifted and talented." You cannot find a GED program on public access or community based television. Also there are many skills including computer literacy, software operations, and coding that can be taught during that mandatory 12-14 years of schooling, Let's train people for jobs, not just to go to college. Also, why does remote school cost the same as direct attendance?

Last line of the video is the most important (From Caleb's mom):"When it comes to African-American boys...there are many other Caleb's out there, but they don't have the opportunity or the resources...". So true. And by "resources" I mean 2 parent family with a father in the home...

I’m 11 and I still can’t read the constitution. Not because I can’t read but because I can’t get through it without falling asleep

I wish him good luck in the future and at the same time I congratulate his parents for the good work they have done. He reminds me of my adopted girl from Ghana which now she's 34 years old with a PhD in mechanical engineering.. This clearly shows that the color of the skin has nothing to do with the intelligence of any person, LET SHOW THIS TO THOSE IGNORANT RACISTS WHITE SUPREMACY WHO AT THIS TIME STILL BELIEVE THAT THE WHITE RACE IS SUPERIOR... And for those who read this and think I'm black for speaking well of a black family, I have news for you, I'm white man 6' 4" Cuban Italian married to a beautiful and very dark Nigerian women for over 29 year and we have 3 boys and an adopted girl from Ghana which we adore just like ours. So please don't think about going there..

NASA and SPACE Xor BLUE ORIGIN these are great career paths for a Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, as far as congress, well maybe when he hit 40 or 50 and has enough life experience the yeah.

Parents read to your kids. Do math and write everyday! Don't let them on electronics. Ive witnessed four kids reading for pleasure this year. Otherwise, the are playing games. Tell your school and state that you want more challenging curriculum. No playing. Let the kids who hold their pencil like an ice cream cone stay in their own classroom.

I took Calc 2 last semester and it was so, so difficult for me. I have a feeling it will be very easy for Caleb!

My advice to this young 12 yr old boy is to Stay Away From Drugs! Drugs can change a bright future into a dark lonely sad future.

98% of children are born gifted.

After completing school, the percentage is only 2%.
