This event is part of the GCF-GEF Pavilion at the UN climate COP27. The GEF and GCF share a common vision to support nature and climate solutions which work together.

UrbanShift: Catalyzing climate action with nature-positive cities (NOV 15, 2022 @ 01:30 PM - 03:00 PM GMT+2)
The session will showcase ongoing efforts to leverage nature-based approaches as a response to the climate crisis in cities and countries from the GEF-funded UrbanShift program. We’ll hear from city and national leaders from Indonesia, Morocco, Costa Rica, as well as high-level experts from the UrbanShift global platform, on how to harness the power of nature to build a sustainable and net-zero urban future where both people and planet can thrive.
