You say one particular course offered by only one department, but how, as relationship is one to many.

COLLEGE DATABASE: A college contains many departments. Each department can offer any number of courses. Many instructors can work in a department, but an instructor can work only in one department. For each department, there is a head, and an instructor can be head of only one department. Each instructor can take any number of courses, and a course can be taken by only one instructor. A student can enroll for any number of courses and each course can have any number of students.

[techintrack]

1.Choose topic (shop, school, university, airport etc.)
2.Give short description of chosen topic
3.Design database conceptual model using CASE tool PowerDesigner (ER model)
a.At least 5 entities 20 attributes (please don’t use entities with similar structure, example: entities Patients, Doctors, Nurses which have FirstName, Last name, BirthDate etc.)
b.1:1, 1:N, N:M and unary relationships
c.Different attributes data types (date, float, integer, text)
d.constraints and data validation rules
4.Generate logical data model in the tool and explore and describe the changes in model
5.Specify database management system “MS Access” and generate database physical model.
6.Generate the SQL script file from generated database physical model.
7.Generate database in MS Access.
8.Verify the generated database correspondence to initially designed conceptual model
9.Create data input masks, captions, validation rule and drop down menus in MS Access
10.Input sample data (at least 10 records in each table)
11.Write conclusion: at least 250 words
