Today we are reviewing the second generation of the Phoibos Leviathan, that got smaller and better. The previous version was a monster at 45mm in diameter and 54mm lug to lug. With this one they dropped to 40mm and the lug to lug of the watch down to 48. Powered by a Seiko NH35 and coming with an excellent bracelet, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel, it is everything you expect for the price.
If you pre-order by March 1st, you can get it for as low as $258.
They sent me this Tiffany blue which I disliked in photos but actually grew to like it a lot in person.

Nice video, short and to the point. I love the description of your impressions & evaluation of the dial color LOL. The angular case shape is very attractive. I completely agree about the EU warehouse, it gets annoying trying to pre-calculate the VAT and miscellaneous "handling fees" charged post-purchase.

I have the 6.5" wrist and also the same gripe with male end links. Female end links look good on all sized wrists, i wish more manufacturers used them.

😄Hahaha, Looks like I'm not the only one who gets the pronounciation of the company's name wrong. Like you, I look at the spelling and I'm forced to say Foy-bus, even though when I contacted Phoibos directly they'll let you know it's actually pronounced Fee-bus. Screw them, Foy-bus for the win! 😁

I had the original version with the white dial and now, with this new size, I may end up pressing "order now" sooner than later with that great bang-for-you-buck cost on top of that.

Wow! Now that is a stunning watch! So chrisp and beautiful! I very much prefer digital watches with either resin or silicon straps and utilise all the functions a digital watch offers. But that watch is utterly gorgeous!

It still is too big by some margin for my liking, alrhoigh that also comes from how big it reads due tl style, bezel and thickness. This is not my genre. I also think you can rest easy I that you don't have proof for liking the most hyped colour in watches, since to me this looks more like aqua than it does Tiffany. If it were truly more pastel, perhaps, but there is also jsut something about that name being dropped inappropriately that feeds the hype. Basicslly anything from the palest ice blue to a moody pastel mint or teal can now pass as a member of the same club. Perhaps it is, from a marketing perspective, but there is a lot of variety in that space.
