I thought Uncle Jesse moved in to help raise the kids?

Let's copy the format of this video:
Why Uncle Jesse was Actually Awesome
He moved in after Danny asked him to help him out for a few weeks after Danny's wife died. He only thought he'd be there for a few weeks but the girls begged him to stay. He wanted to leave multiple times before that but STILL stayed because both Danny and the girls needed him. He not only had a job when he moved in (exterminator) but he later changed to a radio host, a successful rock band, an assistant to Joey's show, owning the nightclub and completely turning it around into a successful business after it foreclosed, and advertising. When he first moved in, he DID have his own room. He later gave up that room so Joey could move out of the basement. He then completely renovated the attic into a completely functional apartment that he and his pregnant wife could live in and later their twins and still stay to help Danny. Not only that but when the girls needed a dad when Danny was busy or had to work Jesse was there. He also helped the girls and his own kids by volunteering at their schools (not really by choice) and helping the girls what ever chance he got. And let's not forget how Stephanie cut off his hair and Dj almost crashed his prize car but he still stayed and forgave them immediately. Yeah, he sounds like a real freeloading douche.

Sorry guys, but this is too inaccurate to be funny, Jesse was...
1.almost always employed,
2.his band had a song charted at #1 in Japan
3.He only moved in because Danny asked him

Where are they getting all of this shit from? Jesse was anything but a leach. His sister had met with a tragic ending, leaving his young nieces without a mother. So, he moves in, to help Danny, his brother-in-law, who suddenly finds himself single and really does NEED the help. Throughout the entire series, Jesse is employed. So, I really don't know where the good folks at college humor are getting that he was a bum and a huge burden on Danny. As for him "never paying rent", well that is an outright lie. The audience never sees him write out a check or hand Danny cash, but that certainly does not mean he never paid anything.

His band became extremely popular in Japan and he toured the world. Sure it almost tore his family apart but he left the limelight with probably millions of dollars and lived with his awesome kids and incredibly gorgeous wife. Dude was killing it.

Jesse has had multiple jobs over the series, from exterminating to advertising but was almost never unemployed. He renovated by himself to allow he and his family to live with Danny and the children because when he did move out, everyone was miserable. Jesse moved in to help Danny care for three young children since Danny still had a full time job as a sports reporter and later host of a morning talk show.

I don't know what your definition of cool is, but Uncle Jessie regularly jammed with the beach boys so

Uncle Jesse is the most fleshed out character in the whole show. Which isn't saying much, but he was the personification of everything we wanted to be when we grow up. Happy and full of life.

Bruh Uncle Jesse helped raised the kids, plus the attic he lived in wasn't that fucking bad. Like you have characters that supposedly didn't watch the show, but did the creators of this skit ever watch it? C'mon.

I feel like they didn't actually watch the show before making this video.

1) It wasn't that Jesse couldn't afford rent, it's that the rest of the family missed having him in the house

2) He wasn't unemployed. He had a rock band that reached the Top 100's, he had a professional music video on MTV, he would often be commissioned to write jingles for local tv shows and advertisements, and he owned restaurant.

3) He was married to a newscaster and had healthy twin boys as his children.

Conclusion: You people have obviously never actually watched the show.

Well he was employed, he was helping his dead sister’s husband raise their three daughters, stayed because Danny needed him, not to mention he regularly cared for the girls and mentored them. He was successful through following his passions and mixing that with practicality. I get this video is a joke, but Uncle Jesse was the real MVP y’all!

These sketches where one character gets constantly contradicted, then gets emotional at the end, and then snaps out of it with one last joke... getting very formulaic.

Actually Danny asked Jesse to live there after the death of his wife to help raise his children.
Then the whole living in the attic thing. Jesse totally renovated the attic so it was safe to live in. He only lived in the attic because Danny's kids didn't want Jesse to leave.
So there Jesse is NOT pathetic!

"motorcycles are very expensive". hahahahaha in what world? a brand new motorcycle is like 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of a new car.

I was half expecting a cameo appearance by John Stamos in the end. Sigh

So many factual errors just to make fun of a 90s funny situation... I expected better.

So... pest exterminator, advertising executive, and radio dj aren't jobs? I never knew.
