an interesting route to test out would be the oxidation of Glycin with ozone. some chemical sites say an yield of 55%

You are awsome I bet the race tracks near you adore you. I wanna do this but I want mine to be purple and I’m wondering if adding a dye to the water before mixing it with the nitromethane would mess up the synthesis and make it unsafe to use in vehicles. Or if you have any suggestions. Or if you would please do a synthesis video on how to give it color and making sure it’s safe to use I could probably just try to dye it and find a place to get it tested and approved now that I think about it. 1) how many methods to synthetic nitromethane (CH3NO2)?
2) You used chemicals - which are expensive. I want to refer method easier for synthesis process
