Simple steps to create Jasper Reports in iReport using JDBC connections

In this video I have shown how to create jasper Reports using JDBC connection.(in this video have used MYSQL)

sir, do i have to install external app for obtaining this report in java ?

because I remeber in vb.net,
we need to install crystal report first then our vb program can use the library.

how about this java ireport, do it need to be installed externally as well?
