I met JJ before and he was a very kind person and it’s such a shame how everyone is hating on him because of a Star Wars movie they didn’t like.
But then people start saying George Lucas should have been in charge of the sequels and they say he is the true owner of Star Wars after he sold it to Disney. But people forget that before he sold it to Disney he was being treated the same way JJ and rian Johnson are being treated now

Was it really counter intuitive though? A Jedi Master exiled to an isolated location, reluctant to teach the ways of the Force to a young Jedi to be and after agreeing, passes away before he can complete the training ? Is that Luke or is it Yoda?

Yeah, I agree with him! I walked in expecting a good Star Wars movie with mystery and excitement. I walked out disappointed and confused. Although I’m not sure that is a good formula. Video game have told way better stories. People say that Rise of Skywalker is convoluted, Last Jedi story was pointless and uneventful with the exception of killing off Snoke and Luke in anticlimactic ways. I was really hoping to see Luke and Kylo have a real light saber duel...

I walked out of TLJ surprised as fuck too. But I also walked out saying "What da fuck was this I just watched?"

I hate when people call Rian's script "surprising" or whatever. It was just sabotaged, with every natural, reasonable idea rejected and flipped around. Anyone could have done what he did, it was like a little kid wanting attention. Watching the film, the things that happened didn't make me think of it in terms of the universe or the characters, but just in terms of the simple things that had happened inside Rian's head. The story itself died, escaped the screen into oblivion.

All though Jar Jar did his best to destroy Star Wars it was in fact Roundhead Rian Johnson who hold's that honour. But Jar Jar can still claim the title of destroyer of Star Trek, need did a hell of a number on that one.
