Sometimes I forget how goddamn awesome my dad is, thank you to the thrash lab for creating this piece on the work he does, he's a f***ing boss!

this is a really beautiful piece. Mike and Dustin the Subculture Explorers did a great job documenting the culture of urban beekeeping!

Honey is so expensive and I love it in my tea and coffee. I just want to get me hive of those fuzzy cuties and get my own honey. They would also be an awesome addition to help with the garden and possible fruit trees.

I keep bees in my suburban neighborhood and I already have 3 hives! I used to hate honey but after I was extracting 50 pounds of it I learned to love it ;)

I think it means that we use things made by bees a lot, there is honey and bee wax in a lot of foods.

I love these guys! I'm a beekeeper in Idaho. I can't image trying to keep hives down there. All I have to worry about is bears.

We just started out keeping bees a week and a half ago. This morning, when I went out the back door, I found 11 little honey bees sitting there waiting for me. 6 were dead and 5 were very tired bees so I fed them a little honey. They took it happily and flew off on their merry way. I think the porch light is what attracted them. Now I'm worried about any lights being on at night. I hope they don't gather at the neighbours houses like that. Has anyone else had this problem?

It means that bees are responsible for pollinating most of the foods that we eat from fruits and vegetables to the feed that we give our livestock.

Honey from wildflowers tastes way better than plain clover honey. Honey can be stored indefinitely. Way to go, legalize backyard bee keeping. Save our bees.
