Good Samaritans Smash Truck Windows of Driver Who Passed Out

A group of good Samaritans are speaking out about saving an unconscious man slumped over the wheel of his pickup truck on a busy Georgia interstate. Several people began pummeling the vehicle’s windows with whatever they could grab, including a sledgehammer, a stroller and a tire jack in an attempt to reach the driver inside. Video shows the truck drifting down the highway in Atlanta as strangers ran alongside it, trying to get the motorist’s attention before finally breaking his rear window.

This is why we need to give humanity a chance and STOP judging for these individuals to put their own freedom and life on the line because no one knew what was happening and easily could have shot and killed them, and yet their love for humanity did this.... God bless them all and their families.

PSA: The front side glass on newer vehicles in laminated (like your windshield) and no longer shatters like tempered safety glass. To gain entry use a small surface area object in the UPPER or LOWER corners of the glass on the REAR windows. Impacting the center of the glass will not break it. BONUS PSA: The ceramic portion of a spark plug top will shatter tempered glass if thrown at it. I keep a piece in my fire gear at work. It's worked hundreds of times.

Wow this made me cry. My husband was driving home one night last month, we were on the phone and all of a sudden the phone went silent, I held on anyway. I knew something wasn't right. He had passed out and ran into a row of flexible-like, thin trees. He's okay as well, and thank God for the people who's yard he ran into. They gave him a blanket, talked to him, stayed with him and got my number from his phone to call and let me know where he was! I get chills and tear up every time I think about it. I'm also thankful he didn't hurt anyone in the process. I'm glad this man was ok...to think he was on the highway is so scary.

Same thing happened to me while I was driving a truck on the freeway. Except nobody helped me and I ended up crashing into a Boulder and landed in a pond and nearly drowned. I'm glad people helped this man instead of letting something bad happen.
