How to create batch invoices | QuickBooks Online Advanced

0:10 If you have a number of invoices to record, you don’t need to do them one at a time.
0:20 With QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can use batch invoicing to speed up your data entry and record multiple invoices at the same time.
0:25 We’ll cover two ways to use the batch invoicing tool: how to record multiple separate invoices at once and how to make copies of one invoice that you can send to multiple customers.
0:37 Select “New” and then “Batch Transactions” to get started.
0:43 From the “Select transaction type” menu, choose “Invoices.”
1:00 Enter the customer you want to create an invoice for.
1:20 If you have already entered the customer information, QuickBooks automatically enters it for you.
1:25 in the “Products/Services” column, select which products and services you are charging your customer for.
1:45 You can add more lines to add more products and services.
1:57 Record the rest of the data for the sale—like sales tax and shipping charges.
2:22 Once you’ve entered everything, scroll to the left and enter another invoice in the “Invoice No.” column to batch enter multiple invoices at once.
2:30 If you’re sending the same invoice to multiple customers, select the box to the left of the invoice and choose “Duplicate invoice for multiple customers.”
2:40 Select the dropdown menu and choose another customer you’d like to send an identical invoice to.
2:50 You can select as many customers as you like to send the same invoice. Then select “Next.”
3:00 You can edit specific invoices before finalizing them and sending them.
3:20 You can also delete invoices if you change your mind.
3:30 Once you’re finished, you can save and print or save and send your invoices to customers.
3:43 That’s how you can save time and record invoices in a batch with QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Just bought Online subscription, watched how to fill in and send Batch invoices. Example page has no place for date. A simple case of technical schizophrenia? Or an intentional devilish plot?
