Making the KTM 450 SX-F a Street Legal Ripper!

In this video I am featuring my 2016 KTM 450 SX-F Supermoto build!

This started out as a completely stock KTM. To make the bike street legal Trail Tech makes a kit to add a front headlight, fender that has the taillight and license plate bracket to hold your plate, high and low beam and a horn. I think it came with a rear view mirror but I never installed it. I installed a FMF slip on. The bike has aftermarket Brembo front brake system, wheels, Racetech springs, etc. Overall it rides really well and fun to ride on the street.

I just installed a new set of the ContiAttack SM EVO tires. These tires are an excellent option for those that do not use tire warmers because the warm up quick and have great feel.

I'm really glad I've found this video since in my searches I can just find KTM exc or exc-f and other variant that can be turned into street legel I have a 450 sx-f and I do really want to turn it into a complete street legel except tires due to my current location, I only know few about machenics and mantainance that I do but not full electric system . If the same bike (2024 KTM 450 sx-f ) can fit all of those please let me know with wiring process and tools

Really looking into getting my first ktm. Had a 2012 WR450 and had 16k miles on it when it was sold. Never even had to rebuild the engine, just regular maintenance. Obviously this bike won’t be as reliable but do you have any honest insight as to how often it will need to be rebuilt? I’m game to put some good money into it but not trying to have the motor go out every 2 months of regular use lol. I ride hard and it would be living a rough life especially in supermoto trim if I were to build one. Looking at 2019-2023 ones.
