I get a lot of messages asking what safety equipment I have on my SeaDoo when riding miles off-shore on the ocean. So here's a look at my current set-up that I would never leave home without. The things listed here will literally save your life in an emergency. If you have other recommendations for safety gear, leave it in the comments below!

I went from Cub Scout up to Boy Scout in the 70s and 80s. My Scout Leaders were Ex Military from the Viet Nam War. These guys taught us how to survive with nothing. But they over stressed, BE PREPAERD FOR ANYTHING. Always plan for the worse and hope for the best. I have lived by their teachings to this very day, and it has gotten me out of a lot of bad situations. I was a member of LA County Search and Resue, and most people we pulled out of our oceans, mountain and water ways were unprepared. You are not over doing it. Great Chanel, Great content.

Adam - Awesome job explaining your truly impressive load out. I respect having redundant emergency comms/beacons. Your backup should always be better than your primary. The Motto is: TWO is ONE, ONE is NONE. Cheers!

Great vid! 1:44 Keen to know, when you say "people will know that it's me..." Which people? Who does the distress signal go out to? Coastguard? Police? Close friends you've arranged to be contacted by the walkie talkie company?

Great stuff. You can never be too careful or prepared when you're messing with the Pacific.

One can never have too much safety equipment. My motto is: better to have and not need than need and not have. My children call me paranoid, I call me prepared!! 🤘👍

You are well equipped. I agree with everything you have aboard. You are on the Ocean and not a Zlake.

That is a genius video, thank you. just getting into the sport, after following your videos. There have been “thousands” of people lost at sea, that would have given one of their hands to have the safety equipment you have. There’s no such thing as being overly safe, or prepared. Keep up the great work, praying for your safe adventures.

a high powered flash light would be good as well for search and rescue / MOB.

Hi Adam, I use to own a PWC it was a Yamaha, and I use to carry safety stuff aswell. My friends use to laugh about it, cause they carried nothing except a fire extinguisher cause it's by law here. Luckily we never had to use none of them. But good for you my friend for thinking of everything and stay safe.
Love from Malta 🇲🇹 ❤️

Always good thing to be prepared, last week i got to find myself in a situation where i needed some basic medical gear and i didn’t have it. I made sure i got what ever i could possibly need ready now.

I'm freshwater fishing in Washington, and have the beacon, marine radio, and a few other things that we NEVER used to use boating! As much room as the '22 Trophy has, I wish it had a little more! I got more fishing shit to take out! 8 hrs of break in done, nearly time to just do as I feel like on it.

You nearly have it all. You just need to add arm bands, Life Bouy, extendable oars, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, survival suit and maybe a ISO life raft or two. Seriously though, given your long rides out to sea you're better off having the equipemnt you have.

Ever think about peronalizing your SeaDoo? You can get graphics/wraps for them from places like MotoWrap. Not sure on any to fit the Fish Pro but definitely get some that fit your lasses S.D. Even if you can't get a warp to fit, those orange parts look a bit dull. Get some neon yellow to brighten it up and make it match the brand colours a bit more.

Strap your seats and forward hatch cover. Carry a battery jump pack and pinch pliers in the event of a tow.
