I love the addition of the stitching feature. It's going to make life much easier!

We used the new "Remove a Color" feature under the visual properties tab. All you need to do is check the box, and select the color you would like to remove. In this case, we chose to remove the bright green behind our subject, then used the crop tool to remove the rest.

Thanks, Dave, for the reply. To get to the root of the problem/issue, I created two new projects (one at 1920X1280 and another at 1280X720) and created a single "title" screen with a white background (I created two white backgrounds in PhotoShop of those sizes). I typed in text to fill 4 lines on that screen. I rendered each for YouTube and the results were jaggie. BTW, the text I was referring to in the Camtasia video was the 39 seconds of intro text on the sheets of notebook paper.

Yup Camtasia was used to edit most of the video. The animated sequences where done by using a combination of After Effects, Premiere and Camtasia Studio.

If the clip has audio, then 400% is the most you can speed it up. But if you right-click on the clip and separate the audio from the video, you can speed the clip up by more than 400%. Hope this helps.

Duane, I'm aware of at least one bug fix in the 810 that dealt with the quality of text in callouts when the width or height was an odd number due to an off-by-1 rounding error. Scaling your video can also have an impact on the sharpness of text. For the sharpest text, it's best to record, edit, and produce at the same size. YouTube won't let me put a link in the comments here, but we have tutorials on our site that offer some useful advice for getting the best quality out of your videos.

In fact, after reading what I just wrote, I ABSOLUTELY believe it is just plain wrong to demo a "presentation product" using anything other than the power of that product, alone. To use an extreme example, would you blend in elements produced in other presentation software if it, too, had elements your software didn't offer (and then wait for people to ask if the entire video was made in your software)?

Guys when you put out videos, why 15 all at once, it spams my subscriptions.

I can't get text to look anywhere near as "jaggie-free" as in this video. I NEVER complain, but (of course there's a "but"...), if you are putting up a video represented as portraying the power of your new, upgraded version, it is disingenuous to put elements into it that "normal folks" can't afford to or won't be able to do. After Effects produces UNBELIEVABLY great text, but, it is an absolute PIG in every other respect compared to Camtasia. But, jaggie-free text is KEY in a presentation.
