Ninnie's Cottage Garden – Sweden, June 2020

I visit my friend Ninnie Edheimer's garden in the south of Sweden and take a long walk through her beautiful cottage garden. The thing I love most about the cottage garden concept is the colorful mix of edible and ornamental plants, and how it all seems to fit together in a relaxed and natural way. It's such a cozy and beautiful space. I hope you enjoy the video!

Absolutely beautiful. Now I know why Ninnie has so many darling chairs and benches sitting around. After a long day with 4 children who argued and cried and fighted and got cuddled and read to and who I held in my arms they finaly went to bed. And I, as their very tired mother, just longed for some chocolate, reed wine, a hot water bottle and a blanket on the sofa watched this absolutely amazing video of the most beautiful garden ever. thank you so much for the slowness, the music, the few words and this most wonderful garden. Oh, how I fell in love with this garden. It almost made me cry. I have been trying and trying to find garden tours online, but so many of them, like Goldilock's porridge, were just "not right." This is so peaceful and composed so artfully without being grandiose and "show-offy", if I may coin a phrase. I am sure we can all find lovely tips from this garden.

Having had gardens of my own which were considerably smaller than this, I cannot imagine that she does it alone... that or she is superhuman but wow what a superbly designed and tended garden.
