This is why I also have a loud alarm with a bike lock, and I'm never too far away from my ebike. The second best thing you can do if you own an expensive ebike is to buy bike insurance.

there are zero impervious ways to lock a bike up if someone approaches with the right tools. the idea is the average opportunistic thief will attempt to take it, find a road block and leave.
