This is useful only for opening a file one time and it stores a copy of the picked file in app's cached storage. That means twice as much storage space taken for a file. After clearing app cache, the path is lost and the files need to be picked again. This plugin is useless for an application which has to use that file repeatedly even after clearing app cache. Storing video or audio files in local database is not feasible as it will take a lot of space. Only paths should be saved but this plugin doesn't give direct path to files on shared storage.
