PLAYERS' PICKS | 2022/23 | Newcastle United Squad Choose Their Goal of the Season

There were plenty of strikes to choose from but we asked the #NUFC squad what their goal of the season was.

Miguel Almirón's volley against Fulham, Jacob Murphy's tap-in following Alexander Isak's incredible run and Fabian Schär's long-range effort at home to Nottingham Forest were the most popular selections.

The two hugely underrated goals this season for me are

Wilson against Forest - the dink with the outside of the foot to the far corner is unreal
Longstaff's second against Southampton in the cup - if you watch the full move the build up play with Willock, Joelinton and then Miggy is incredible, my jaw hit the floor when we scored that.

So many to choose from, and even some of the disallowed goals were great ones, Fabian had one ruled out against Everton, Willock had another against Westham, Miggy hattrick effort against Fulham... great effort by the lads. Bring on next season!
